Racing Fuel Filler Cap
No one is quite sure of the original date the racing (roller latch) fuel filler caps began to appear on automotive applications. We have seen advertisements in car magazines dating back to the mid 1930’s and even earlier in the aviation industry. Associated with famous competition cars of the fifites, sixties and early seventies. They appear on the most famous racing cars in the world.
They were popular for all automotive, marine, motorcycle and aviation applications.
These filler caps can be fitted on many classic and vintage (racing) cars. They work and look wonderful.
